Talking Socially

We have a funny social platform. You talk, you bitch, you gossip and you portray the real you on social media. Most people today are blogging and tweeting about their real life experiences which otherwise they wouldn't tell anyone. Its an informative pool of knowledge sharing puts ease to your nerves if you don't forget to add those silly privacy settings. For some its a job, for some its leisure and for some its just an activity to pass time.

According to my own research, there have been so many instances where a particular blog or a simple Facebook update has made a difference to someone. You angry or upset?? and you post a hate post on Facebook?? Well, didn't you feel great when you got that 'don't worry' from a friend?? Someone from an overseas continent re-tweeted your tweet?? Didn't that make you feel liked??? Well that is the true power of social media. You learn something new, you blog it, You created something, You heard a new song and it got stuck in your head, don't tell the world, just tweet it. Social media initiates ideas today and most of them are well accepted and a few well executed.

Right from projects to complex solutions, there is information available on social network. Someone at some corner of the world is constantly updating blogs, sharing data, analysis, ideas and what not. The online social network is not just in black and white, its practically a source and a destination to change your mind, be motivated, grow emotionally and express exponentially. I want to impress my girl with a foreign language but do not know Spanish. Or French for that matter. But Hey !!! someone just uploaded a video tutorial on YouTube which makes my life easier. And this is just One example. People learn online, display their creativity, their photos, their egos, their personality, get new businesses, even jobs, explore new locations for hiking or for a tour on social media.

Companies have started recognizing this platform for commercial use in India too. And obviously with almost all the earthlings participating in at least one form of social network, its quite lucrative. NGOs and Non profit organizations aren't behind and are striving hard to get their message to reach their audience and spread awareness on issues.

So the reach has been wider than ever and is still growing. With social media, the kids aren't afraid of the dark anymore and have more reasons to practice the way they should talk to a girl. People are improving and so is their behavior and their way of thinking. There is tremendous power and un-thinkable potential in the social media and it will continue to influence & mould lives.
